Quick Disclaimer: I’m a Mac guy using a PC in this tutorial, so I may interchange the words “control" and “command" as well as “Alt" and "Option.” Please note that when I say “control” (on pc) that means “command" on a Mac and vice versa. The point of this video so show you some commonly used keyboard shortcuts for tools that will help you maximize your workflow in Photoshop. However, you don’t need to know every keyboard shortcut that Photoshop offers.
There are a ton of Photoshop keyboard shortcuts. Knowing keyboard shortcuts is crucial in creating a faster more efficient post-production workflow.
Over the years, I’ve learned a lot of keyboard shortcuts. And when you spend as much time in Photoshop as I do, you want to work as fast and efficiently as you can. Photoshop supports layers that are larger then canvas size.As you can imagine I spend a lot of time in Photoshop.

Warning if you download the PSD file it is 7MB I downsized the image canvas to 800圆00 but the replacement image I left quite large. Hers is an example I only replaced one pain and did not touch up the mask. If the Mask is not perfect click on the mask icon and change to the paint brush tool and paint on the mask with black and white paint to tune the mask. The change to the move tool and move the replacement to how you like it. Next click on the image Icon in the layer pallet on the replacement layer to target it. If you used the drag and drop method the will be a chain icon between the layer image Icon and the Layer mask Icon in the layers pallet click on the chain Icon to remove the link. Load selection to load the saved mask selection and click on the add layer mask icon in the bottom of the layers pallet.
Place to place the replacement image on top of the image with the window. Next open the replacement image and drag it and drop it on top of the image with the window. This will be use to mask the replacement image. Then use calculation to combine the saved selection channels till you have a channel containing all the pains. If the windows has more then one pain you do this for each pain. Save selection and name the save selection window pain. Transform Selection press and hold the ctrl key and with the mouse drag the corners to the exact window pain corners. Use the rectangle marquee tool to ruff select a window pain.
